Call for research on the gems

Most people never go to earth, they find it a world with too much sand, too much poverty. Dried out really... often literally.I was on a family visit in Sweden, right there the climate is much more different compared to what it was a thousand years ago. Back then, my family lived in the Netherlands. Flat long-stretching green lands with many farms and animals. Not that that's all gone, I'm happy to see it is still there. It's just not what is ever used to be. But I like Sweden, very welcoming. It is one of the few places where nature thrives instead of declines.
Two weeks passed before I received a letter from Universal Cartographics and Vista Genomics. Both parties said to be working together, creating new archives with innovating methods of research and discovery. It looked very promising indeed. The message ended with a request for collecting new fresh exploration and genomic data. They said that this time, we're sure to fill in the gaps. And what's there to fill in are undoubtedly new and unseen gems of the Milky Way.
It said nothing else, a rather short message.
I'm feeling excited, my last voyage through deep space was about a year ago. During that time I had the pleasure to see new majestic celestial and stellar phenomena. I never expected it, I keep being surprised by the yet unseen beauties and beasts between the stars. And so here I go again!
But what to take? Last time I went in my brand new Krait Phantom, a perfect choice for the full range of exploration. Truly the best exploration-exobiology combination with excellence if I do say so myself... and I do.
Although, a new trip across the galaxy might also be worth some greater experience if one chooses to buy a new car. So when I leave my family on earth and start going back to work, is there work for a new jumpy jumper? I'll think about it.
Sweets for my sweet and sugar for my honey. What has Vista Genomics to offer? I might need a new sampler and definitely more sample canisters. When I did my last exobiology trip I had to stop three times on the journey because my Phantom, Laroque, actually carried more data than I would ever dare to take care of. Sure, it made me rich. Richy rich. But then 3309 was absolutely the most expensive year yet. I had to finance a new carrier and a financial program to support my squadron, the Benelux Commanders (I had great help, not going to lie). Phew Man oh man I was happy to do it... so why don't do things that make you happy once again? Yeah right! Exploration: Yes. Spending the earnings: Yes please!
I asked my carrier crew to schedule some cleanups and maintenance on the explorers that are stored. For now I am not sure whether to take the carrier with me so I can use different ships to discover different regions with different requirements. This time, going somewhere new is more important to me than before. Like Hen 2-23, I believe that the Milky Way still holds many of its gems in and around the systems that are hard to get to.
But the only way to get there...
...is to start going.
In preparation for a new journey, I hereby leave a note. I don't know how long I will be gone, but don't you worry, photo's of the great will come your way!
Oh before I go, can someone send me the lady luck? Exploration requires a large dose of that stuff and it doesn't grow on trees you know, the very trees I might be searching for by the way.
Too much talk!
Bon voyage o7
