Drilling Rockes, Runing from pirate's

The last 3 days been pretty eventful. It seems that every time I head in to one of the Rings to do some mining I'm scaned and harassed by Pirates. I've kind of learn their routine they scan you, if you don't have anything worth anything in your cargo hold thay will generally leave you alone. But if you have anything worth anything in your cargo it's best to cut and run. Thare more of a nuisance, be it a deadly nuisance ,than anything. Once you learn how they operate you can kind of work around them most of the time. A lot of times the system Authority runs most of them off if you're lucky. I find mining to be profitable and challengeing . The biggest challenge is keeping jinx off my heads up display so I can see where I'm going without running into a rock. That Darn Cat . But he's my best friend and I wouldn't get rid of him for the whole galaxy. I'm making some fairly good credits . It's not a get rich fast thing, but you can do fairly well with a little hard work and luck of course. The Ravens holding up so far but this trip out here and the refit and Mining have really taken their toll on her. It might be time soon to think about retiring Raven and looking into a new ship. But there's not very many ships out here to be had, I probably would have to make the long trip back to the bubble. But it's not that time yet so we'll see what happens.
I'll continue to try to keep my logs up-to-date but I most likely try to make an entry every 3 or 4 days. Unless there something exciting to log. That's it for now got a lot of maintenance before I head back out to the rings.
