Alioth Cluster Suffers Medicine Shortages Amidst Crisis

Due to a combination of various causes, the Alioth Cluster is currently experiencing massive shortages of medicines. The largest manufacturers in the region are the LP 128-32 Corporation and Perez Ring Brewery Pharmaceutics, both of which run license productions of Neomedical Industries patents. All three corporations promised to maximize production where possible, but indicated the high risk of capacity overloads leading to problems.
Doctor Nina Eder of the Allied Rescue Team commented on the situation aboard the Allied Solace:
>"Demand shocks for medicine do happen occasionally. That is nothing new. The current situation is made worse by the on-going escalation of the Thargoid War, the local Civil Wars and an on-going outbreak of Orrere Pocks affecting various factions and ports in the Cluster. The Alliance Rescue Ship Allied Solace is currently stocking up on medicines in Ross 112 as refugees are brought to it by independent pilots. The nearby Egan Orbital is all out of medication already."
