Toast Smell Sorted

Last week I left the Serenity Now! at Ackerman Market for more repairs. I bought a hauler there called the Fish n’ Ships so I could convert it to a space bus and head back out to Wolf 1301. The Fish n’ Ships is in pretty great shape. However I didn’t realize, until I got the ship overheated during a botched fuel scooping attempt, that the old hauler probably was named Fish n’ Ships because it was used to haul… fish. The smell really isn’t all that bad. But I did realize when I unpacked my overnight bag at Saunders’s Dive later that evening that my clothes smelled faintly of mackerel.Anyways, fast forward one week, and I just got a wave from Cletus at Ackerman Discount Repairs. He told me the toast smell on the Serenity Now! was from some bulkhead sealant that was accidentally smeared onto the frame shift drive housing by one of his technicians. Whenever the FSD charged up it was burning off the sealant- a delicious smell I might add by the way. He said he did his best to clean it up and there would be no charge. I thought that was very nice of him. He also reminded me that I owe him 70,000 credits for previous repairs and that I have one week left to pay. Also very nice of him to give me that friendly reminder.
I’ve made about $500,000 credits here this week in a bone stock sidewinder named the Juke Box, I’ve got the money to pay Cletus. Now I just have to battle my own laziness. Do I go back to Erevate and pay my repair bill? Do I leave the Serenity Now! there for him to confiscate in lieu of payment? So many decisions.
