CAPTAIN'S LOG - SUPPLEMENTAL: Progress Update

Continuing good progress on working towards Tier 4 of "The Explorer". It appears at my current rate, I should reach Tier 4 sometime in the next two weeks. To break the monotony of scanning and jumping I managed to solo Thargoid Interceptors. A crash kept one of the kills from being entered in the log. I think I have refined the process to continue solo, if I have to, till I reach the milestone of 50. Have re-fitted the FAS with standard HRPs and a repair limpit controller for canopy repairs mid-battle. The Guardian HRPs and decon limpit controller are perfect for scouts, but less than optimal for dealing with interceptors. My accuracy with aiming the fixed gauss is improving, but still needs lots more practice to reach the "OK" level.

Side note: Have joined the CG to fight against the Marxist in MUDHRID. If Tier 1 is reached will receive a fully engineered class 2 rating B long range and high capacity railgun with feedback cascade. Current progression rate of CG does not leave me optimistic of a Tier 1 rating. In top 50% with 3,894,397 turned in.
UPDATE: 4/27/2021 - Taking much longer than originally estimated. As of this update to the log, I have reached the 25,000 systems. I am currently at 241,096 Level 3 scans and 25,591 systems. Depending on time for exploring, Mid-May now seems the probably time of completion at my current rate. Thargoid hunting on Friday's and Alpha may push that date back even further. Space madness is quick to set, so I find myself pursuing other activities to the detriment of the task at hand. Must push myself back into the black. Scoping in on Bounties, Bonds and Goids for next phase.
