ALD defeats Winters in Puntin, completing their expansion.

It was a long fought battle...Needless to say we met with heavy resistance in Puntin. With three wings supporting our crime sweeps, however, our merit farmers faced little player interference. BastardWizard, Yama, PlzDontShoot were some of the notable pilots covering our operations.
Even down to the wire our pilots had to scatter to turn in their merits. When the need for a pilot to check the path back to Colfalyawa came up, I volunteered. The course plotted was two jumps. On exiting my first high-wake another ship popped on my radar. It was K3Z1A, one of the main operators against us in Puntin. I hugged the star as close as I could, popped a heat-sink, and activated the FSD figuring I could out pace him. My jump succeeded.
Coming out of high-wake, my radar lit up with signatures, no players yet. Suddenly K3Z1A came out of high-wake in Colfalyawa. Wing leader Fronsky was already jumping toward the system to provide assistance. An enemy wingmate attempted to interdict me, but his attempt failed. K3Z1A followed, knowing Fronsky was on his way, I bought time then submitted to his interdiction.
Although I was excited to take this guy down, Fronsky covered my escape for the sake of merits, and I was able to high wake out.
ALD ended up with enough merits in our pockets to pass up a 600% merit deficiency with our last turn-ins. Needless to say, the Kongga Ales were cracked open, and the Onion Head was served.
