MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE; INOVIT EXECUTIVE PARNELL GIBBONS MISSING |
APRIL 22ND 3305 |
FAIRBAIRNE ENTERPRISE, HIP 64861 |
Representatives in Inovit, today, confirmed the status of long time Inovit Major LTD political Executive Parnell Gibbons as 'missing'.
Gibbons, a former Federal military officer and member of the Pilots Federation, was known to frequently pilot his own Cobra Mk III to and from various functions and political events. He and his ship were last seen leaving Fairbairne Enterprise in HIP 64861. While it has not been confirmed as his destination, in recent days aides have stated the Executive had been recalled to Nanomam for a conference with Fed leadership.
This conference, peculiar on its own, was planned without media notification in Nanomam. Vestige Herald investigative reporters have discovered it is set to involve leaders of several area Fed aligned factions, their regional Fed handlers and Federal President, Zachary Hudson. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss possible remedies for waning Fed support throughout the immediate region.
For Gibbons' part, possible subjects for discussion include recent controversial actions in dealing with repeated setbacks within the Inovit system. Or, perhaps answers will be sought for the losing effort in a senseless war with a rival, right here in HIP 64861, which has inflamed the local populace and cost hundreds of lives. These and other questionable decisions have served to reveal Gibbons as an obviously talented politician, but a shoddy leader. Indeed, the perennial 'favorite son' of local Federal politics is losing popular support in every demographic and has very few political allies remaining.
The appointment of an interim Executive, Lincoln Loshi, to head Inovit Major LTD has been approved.
An Inovit Major LTD spokesperson had no comment on the status of the search for their missing Executive or any policy changes expected under the new leadership.
