Back Out Into The Depths

Out in the system of Delta Pictoris, im 1197ly from home, by no means a gigantic distance by galaxy standards but still an amazing feeling to once again get out into deep space. My mission is to scan planets and systems, do research and aid in the current expansion effort back in Raurt. The star of Delta Pictoris, a B class and the black hole hypnotic to behold. Ive managed to do some ground work on a couple of planets get precious samples and materials for future study and use, the iron magma activity is rife on planet A3, although with a gravity rating of 1.49, it was a bumping landing and the shields of the distant star are mediocre at best.
