Finally found my log tablet today. It's high time I added an entry. It's been a somber week. I lost my Gunship and a damn good pilot named Sheryl. After the service, I gave Rose and Dana a well deserved shore leave. They've been under a lot of stress, with the recent move and pirate activity in the new system. I placed an order for a new Gunship with Core dynamics, 2 days ago. They messaged me today, and let me know a new one is currently being assembled at Borr. The other one went before it's time. It never would have been destroyed in the first place, if they didn't design such weak-assed shields for it. The ship designer must have been drinking Evil Juice the week he ran the math specs for the Shield Generator for these things. I mean,c'mon, this is supposed to be a combat ship, not an Asp. The only way I've found to help compensate, is to load it up with armor. The problem with that is, it gets so heavy it maneuvers like a pig stuck in a barrel full of lard. I've got to find a better way, or the new Gunship will be another death trap.
I should be able to get my new pulse disruptors today. I hope so. If my idea works with these, it could be a game changer for me. OR, I could shoot my eye out. The way this week has been, one is as likely as the other. I just hope it works out as well as the APAs did. It would be nice to have complementary class 2 weapons with some balls. I'll have to let Broo see what he can do with them. That Dweller guy is a lot closer, but he doesn't seem quite right to me. I think he ate too many amps from the distributors he builds. Either that or it's the friggin Kitty Coffee he likes to drink. That guy needs to switch to decaf or unplug and find a happy place. He's been down the rabbit hole too long.
