Behind the Name

30 Dec 2018WolfLDrakarn
Like those before and after me... I started in a sidewinder, making a small living in the world of trade. Started off small but the credits came quick, soon I managed to land myself within the cockpit of a Viper MKIII. I dropped the trade business, beginning to make my earnings eliminating the lawless and wanted, quickly building up an influence.

Soon after my dealings within the Federation, I took my first steps past the boarder and crossed my way through into Imperial space, quickly doing again what I did best. I bought a Viper MKIV, naming her 'The Bardawulf Broker' - the first in a line of ships to come. Not too long after however, I joined up with the Empire officially, under the influence of Arissa
Lavigny-Duval, as a bounty hunter.

Later I had begun trading yet again, first acquiring myself a Type-6 Transporter, making myself a place in the world of trade once more. Later still, I had purchased a Dolphin, 'The Wandering Bard' - the ship that made me countless millions, the ship that would dig my feet into the galaxies economy, the ship that would have me seated into a Python - 'The Bardawulf' - after selling the Name's predecessor.

Several months later I decided to fly out to Sagittarius A* and Colonia, although this wasn't my first expedition into the black, it was my first real step into the unknown. When I eventually returned, I sought out the Thargoids having been interested by the latest rumours and sightings, before returning to my runs across hazardous extraction sites. By now I had accumulated enough credits to purchase myself an Orca for my space-busing.

A couple months later, I sold my two ships - the Python and the Orca - for an Anaconda, my quick-to-be pride, as I managed to A rate much of my new ship right away before taking her across the Bubble for appropriate modifications. My new ship - 'The Baradwulf Eclipse' - would be the last of her name for some time, as my first crewmen and brother-in-arms; Milan Mcbride, would join me for my countless adventures within The Bardawulf Eclipse from this point forth, until her eventual destruction. It would be almost a full year, before the The Bardawulf Eclipse and her oldest gunner; Milan Mcbride fell KIA during a hazardous extraction site where we had become outnumbered and vastly outgunned. I had managed to escape the destruction of my vessel with another crewman; CMDR Millar. Construction of my new ship would begin in place of The Bardawulf, though finding a crewman as talented as Milan would be more of a challenge. I eventually found a suitable candidate by the name of Lionel Prince however, and though he will never be the next Milan Mcbride, he is certainly to be the first Lionel Prince.

Almost a year later and The Bardawulf undergoes a change again, reforming her old weaponry to a more updated-criterion, as well as stronger shields, hull and Covas - Eden - and thus The Bardawulf Eden flies beyond the stars with a bigger bite and a longer howl to show for it all.

Bounty hunter, tour guide and xenologist; my name is Commander Wolf of The Bardawulf, Anaconda. This is my history. o7

"Colonia is a symbol; a right to say we can make it on our own in the black... but it's more than just that, it's a bastion for when the Bubble pops."
"If you can kill them faster than they can kill you, you're good, otherwise you better run faster than you shoot."
