Alien Mass Structure - The Arrival

After many days of inactive logging, I have seated myself down within the quarters of my ship, to catch p upon the recent events of my travels.First and foremost, the aliens... Thargoids. They've made a return and they know we are aware of this. An alien-like structure, like a temple within a large crater, was discovering in the HIP 17026 system and, after exploring the structure for myself, I was able to collect unknown data and encoded values from scans I had made on both the structure itself and the alien "Scavengers", that seemed to patrol the main structure, in peace. Unhostile unless shot, I made my way around them, only engaging in combat when the brunt of my exploration was complete. Several nodes were scattered around the structure, all of which I had tracked down and scanned, collecting any and all data that I could possible at that moment.
The Scavengers, small alien-like drone of, similar to a human Skimmer, seemed entirely mechanical at first, but attacked with a smaller variation of the great, green beam and laser-like device we have seen the bigger ships use - turns out those ships ate merely their scouts.
I had not arrived alone however, during my time exploring the alien structure, I was with my friend and fellow commander: SBK. Together we came to the conclusion that, to enter the structure itself, of course by the only door left intact, we would require an AU - Unknown Artefact - to act as a sort of key, in which to enter with... but what lies beneath the belly of the beast, remains completely unknown to the both of us.
