Today i finished some test flights with the new flagship of the fleet - the new T10 Defender. Her vast size and strong tuned trusters make her a good hauler and flying around, landing on stations and ground facilities are much more fun in comparison to the good old Time Bandit. The jump range could be better, but for the common jobs it is just far enough. Engines sound great.Evading interdictions are not that easy as with my other ships, but i archived to escape an elite-pirate-raid without a scratch. After that, i visited a high rez and picked some bad boys to test the weaponry. Well, she can. But don't have to. Not with this configuration. With some modifications you can go out in the void with her, i guess. Maybe I'll try it some day. The canopy offers a absolute fantastic view.
I promptly ordered a new paintjob for the Big Mac to show unambiguously that she is now part of our proud fleet. May she serve well and glorious.
Finally a confess: I fall in love with this 1600 T beauty. She is the ship i waited for. Not perfect - but close
