A Little Trip into the Black

I decided to go ahead and buy a Dolphin and outfit it with some guardian tech before taking it to Elvira Martuuk to have her work her magic and improve the FSD further. It is a surprisingly good ship to explore in. Handles well, easy to land, and big enough to carry an SRV. I got to be the first to map a couple of systems today. It felt good to do so. Now that I have 2.6 billion credits, I'm not as desperate to scan each and every heavy metal or ocean world that I can. Instead, I can take my time and focus on the interesting planets. As I write this log, I am staring out over a field of geysers I discovered. That is why I come out here, to see things that no other living being has ever seen before. With the StarSkipper, I can do that in style. \
Sure beats that cramped Diamondback. Hell, even my Asp feels spartan compared.
I think when I finish my current expedition I might work on getting my Clipper set up to explore. I still haven't decided what ship I am going to take on the big expedition come June, but I want to do it with a focus on doing it in a ship I love. I'll be in space for a long time after all.
