Expedition: 5k Jaunt

After shlepping a criminal around the bubble for a while (a job's a job), I finally got in good with Marco Qwent. He told me about a Professor Palin out in the Pleiades. Turns out he only talks to dedicated explorers. So, I'm off into the black for a while. I hope that I can get my Asp engineered as much as I can before the expedition in June. I don't really know if I need much more engineered, apart from perhaps making some of the modules lightweights. The essentials are ready to go, and I really enjoy exploring in my Asp. I considered using the Clipper, but something felt off. I also thought about taking the Anaconda for this trip. I genuinely love flying that ship, but when I do it feels more like my working ship. It's great for ferrying passengers, doing missions, or mining. It's fantastic for exploration too, but the Asp just feels like home.
I also managed to link my system up to Inara finally. I can actually report my discoveries to a useful database now.
Well, I'm off to the black.
