Well, I decided to take the plunge and commit to something for once in my life. I've joined up in supporting the Emperor and applied to serve with Lavigny's Legion. The galaxy is a dangerous place and the Empire has always been a force for order. They don't ride roughshod over your rights as the Feds do and the Independents are just faffing away out there. If humanity has any chance of survival against the Thargoids or whatever else is out there in the black, it'll be with the Empire.
Besides, their ships look better.
