Restructuring the Fleet

I bunk up tonight confident in my decision. I have the credits, but the indecision had racked me for weeks. Too many ships to choose from. Too many combat niches to fill. The decision is made. No Federal or Imperial ships. A fun decision as this affords me to play with cracking down on claiming bounties in style. Most fun tonight was watching the deckhands update my Type-10. The Chief on deck was chuckling as he was doing his work. He then came by and showed me the final numbers on the hull strength. Over 5,000 points on the hull with over 90% protection for internal modules. Added some shields for fun.Took her out to a nearby system where there are known high-level bounties. Nine hardpoints shooting overcharged multicannons make swift justice. More fun is ramming them as it does little to no damage to my ship. Just a dull echo is what I hear from the bridge.
Looking over my fleet outfitting manifests, I now take stock of my combat ships:
Type-10 Defender
Anaconda
Krait Mk II
Challenger
Chieftain
Vulture
Each will serve their own purpose.
A good night.
