Captain's Log - Entry: 01-7 3303

In the three weeks since my last log, the crew and myself have made the great strides to finally bringing the Ninety-Niner to peak performance in all aspects of it's operation. According to many of our ship schematics, our modules and internal workings are putting out above optimal power all-around. As well, in preparation for our new crew members, we've outfitted our vessel with the long-awaited plasma accelerator and turreted pulse laser mounts. They've proven quite efficient in our previous combat excursions. On a personal note, I've begun bookmarking a handful of systems en route to Colonia in anticipation of the journey; the 'Colonia Connection' Route for those commanders familiar. Having waypoints established at these ports along the way will prove very useful as we undertake our largest journey ever.
With news of the resurgence of the Thargoids, and political tension throughout the bubble, I imagine it won't be long before we set off on our trip. Our little corner of the galaxy is beginning to become a very dangerous place, and many members of the crew agree. Beginning anew in Colonia may be many commanders' only hope.
Starting fresh on a new frontier might be just what we need.
Everyone needs a little adventure...
