After a few days of downtime following my arrival to the core, with sightseeing and analyzing out of the way, I'm now preparing the Nova Eclipse for the return trip to Colonia. Despite the usual heavy wear-and-tear from long distance travel, the old vessel held up very well, and should hopefully fair the same during the journey back to the colonies.Upon departure from the core, I'll be following an adjacent route directly back to my starting point in the Colonia system, while keeping system and body scans limited for more express travel conditions; effectively cutting my original travel time in half... even down to hours in the best case scenario.
I've gathered a sizable amount of data and quite a few visual logs of Sagittarius A* to bring home to the rest of the crew, who are surely waiting with anticipation for my arrival. With luck, I should find myself docked aboard Jaques Station once again within the coming hours to days.
I'll be departing the core aboard the Nova Eclipse within the next few minutes.
