Captain's Log - Entry: 14-2 3304
14 Feb 2018Rodger "Dodge" Lasko
With four days passed since my successful return to Colonia, fresh off my solo Sagittarius A* Expedition, final preparations are underway for our return trip to the bubble. Delgado and the rest of the crew have enjoyed themselves a lengthy three week vacation in my absence, and many looked forward to resuming their duties aboard the Niner.I'm happy to report that upon delivering my expansive data logs to Universal Cartographics, we were able to find ourselves at the rank of Exploration Elite, achieving Triple Elite Status. The announcement was met with fanfare and celebration by the crew, and there's no doubt it'll be party all the way back to the core systems.
Looking ahead now, with the long journeys behind us, we look ahead to one final push, the 22,000 light year push back to where it all began... and for a rendezvous with the Alliance representatives regarding our new vessel.
In the interest of time, all planetary scans and exploratory operations will be halted, aside from advanced discovery scans upon system entry. As well, we will be utilizing Sacaqawea Spaceport as a halfway point to manage any maintenance and repairs needed after the first leg of travel.
We will be disembarking Jaques Station for the bubble within the next few hours.
