The Last Dock

I left the bubble for the first time a week ago. I made a few small expeditions out to the Guardian sites and to visit the generation ships, but this is the first real expedition. I made it to Colonia on 14/3/3305 and left the next day for Sagittarius A*. It took most of the day to get there, but it was worth it. Took the next couple of hours to hang out at the tourist beacon and went off to Explorer's Anchorage. Had a few drinks and optimized my Conda to have better heat efficiency from the modules there. I've thought about spending more time in the densest star field I've ever seen, but I want to go farther. Farther than most. Its quiet out here in the black, and I like the quiet. Its calming. Instead of just turning in my scans and heading back to the bubble, I decided to turn this trip into an expedition. Beagle Point is a decent spot I think. Its definitely going to take me a while to get there, but I want to see the Milky Way from its farthest point. Almost. But almost doesn't quite do it for me. I spent the majority of my time in the bubble bounty hunting with my wing, taking out Elite Anacondas and even giving my fair share of hell to the Thargoids... damn bugs. So its safe to say that even out here in the black, I need my fill of adventure. Beagle Point just isn't going to cut it for me. I've fitted my Conda to be completely optimized for exploration, with only a few luxuries. I could get a little more jump range out of it, but at this point I'm satisfied with 65ly. So its safe to say that Beagle Point is going to be a breeze. I've set my sights on something even FARTHER. A system that only a few in the galaxy have been. One so far that you need an 84ly jump range to get there.
I'm going to Ishum's Reach. And I'm heading out today.
