Happy early birthday to me!

I'm still waiting for my ship to get repaired, and I honestly thought I'd be yearning to get back out there and kill pirates, or Imperials, or whatever. Turns out I'm not! I've spent so much time in space that I'd forgotten what planetside life was like, and I have 10's of millions of credits to spend! Beyond all that, I remembered (how did I almost forget?!) my birthday is in 6 days! I'm thinking about buying myself a mansion and a Sidewinder just for when I'm here. Flying cars are for poor people (like me a few years ago...sigh)! I'm going to invite my squadmates and if it's at all possible, my parents. I can actually afford to pay for their trip now. In the meantime I'm staying in a very nice hotel. Having hot coffee and a continental breakfast brought to me every morning is really nice, and the showers get sooo hot. I can wake up and actually watch GalNet news instead of just read it in the dead silence of space. When I go outside, the sounds I hear are real, instead of being artificially produced by ship synthesizers. It really is just fantastic.
I did go and check on my ship this morning (it finally stopped raining, but now it's freezing cold outside), and to my secret delight, they had looked at it, come to the exact same conclusion as me, and called some other engineers to come down and fix it. Even more delays! Woohoo, I'm so happy!
