I have been stuck in this system for years. I am not in Asellus Primus by choice, but more by fate.I was born at Dalton Gateway in the LHS 3447 system. All I know of my mother is that she was the pilot of a Type-7 Transporter working for Workers of Lave Liberals. It would appear that I was an inconvenience when I was born as she left me in a medical bay of LHS 3447 Dynamic & Co and departed. Dynamic & Co got to name me as it became my legal guardian. Not a name I would have chosen. But I had little choice.
As soon as I was able, I started work for Dynamic & Co as a domestic services cleaner.
Once I reached 18 I started searching for a transport that would take me to Lave. I had questions I need to be answered. I was hoping to find my mother there although I had little to go on. Not even a name. I had the ship registration number, LV3846, from the logs at Dalton Gateway. I hoped that would be enough for me to track the pilot of the vessel when I got to Lave.
By the time I found a transport heading to Lave I had a sizable sum saved from my cleaning job. Enough to pay for my passage and to live comfortably in Lave for a few months before I needed to find a job there.
CMDR Sparrow appeared to be a helpful pilot. His Cobra Mk III had a passenger compartment and he was very keen to take up my fare. He only asked for proof of credits and said I could pay once we got to Lave Station. I showed him my briefcase of credits and he was happy. We set off 3 days later.
When I woke, I found myself in a storeroom on Baker's Prospect in Asellus Primus. Everything had gone! Years of saving. Gone. Even my luggage had been taken.
I eventually found work as a store maintenance operative. The money is so poor that it’s as much as I can do to pay my bills and feed myself. I don’t see how I am going to save the credits to even get off this rock never mind getting to Lave.
However, maybe my luck is changing. I have received a message that I should report to hanger 1 at midnight on the 26th/27th June 3303. Could this mean that I have I been promoted to launchpad maintenance engineer? I hope so. I have applied for this position 3 times already! But the message is rather vague. My anticipation is overpowering. What could it be? Will I eventually be able to start saving again? Less than a week to go until I find out I guess..
