Helaku's log - 22nd of March 3310
Oh boy my mind was playing tricks on me again yesterday. What a senile thing to think there's no data on queens or sounds about the Thargoids. I mean, I haven't been reading the codex in yers and it kind of mixes with the 'probably fiction'-things I'm reading conserning the insectoid stuff, But it's something we all face one day. The one thing we can't do anything about and that's aging. Time does it's thing to you, but don't worry! I mean don't worry cause you can't do anything about it. It makes you appreciate life right here, right now. We don't need a whole lot, mainly just a mind set that isn't miserable. Also just having common sense about... Everything.. Is good... Right?
After realizing my senile mistake I read the material on the codex. Really fascinating stuff specially with the sound part. They make some kind of clicking noise before attacking humans at least. And then it was mentioned that they also communicate with repeating sounds, or what I might call patterns if I understood it correct. There were also theories about the ship themself giving out some kind of communication or identifying signals. What I was thinking is interrupting those loops with sounds produced by us. I have some old world devices that can produce all kinds of things that could be tested on the 'Goids. Making some kind of progression on the sounds we send might give them a wattafuk feeling, or even better make them get out of the system. Oh boy now I'm really tempted to make it happen somehow. Making some sound science. Mmm I love the sound of that, geddit? Haha.. Dad jokes.. (....You old senile!)
But now we must continue the slow analysing trip back home to the bubble, we're soon there. Next stop --> The Bubble Nebula! --> And what a beautiful place this is! I really love the purple haze vibe here! We landed on a drake-class carrier named fly-by-night and it's captained by Commander Longstreet. It had Vista Genomics open, so I was able to sell my samples there and I reached my destination! Well kind of.. I got 5,6 Billion Credits now which is enough to buy a carrier. But... There's always one haha. I probably have to make a bit more money for the upkeep, but I guess something like billion more is more than enough to upgrade the necessary things there. And of course cover the upkeep. Anyway we decided to head back home and make some exobiology on the way. So after leaving I finally got to analyze route all the way to Toolfa. It will be around 7000 light years, so there will be plenty of samples along the way. So wonderful to get back home to the bubble soon. To tell the truth, I miss my ships. Specially the Cobras have a special place in my heart. Don't get me wrong, this Anaconda I bought for this exploration trip is awesome! It's just such a heavy ship and flying the Condors around just doesn't tickle my brain the way Cobras do.
I'll include a great picture I got when docking here.
