Log # 35 : Distant worlds 2 , ever onward ( waypoints 8 -9 )

On route to next waypoint 
Time for some more cathing up I guess. Currently on route to the 10th waypoint on this expedition but I should go over the trip between goliath's rest and waypoint 9 not to downplay the more interesting areas in terms of the on and off route points of interest . Jetting around the galaxy isn't worth that much if there isn't any places that make us question reality . To gas giants that haven't torn each other part being so close is one of those "uh what" , places you hear so much about. Good way to start your morning, fall asleep at the stick and whatch a double sunrise or sunset when you wake up.
It's been slow around here, not entirely uneventful though. Made good on my plans to visit the galaxy roof and now we're heading out of the core, now really getting on into the 2nd distant worlds . Haven't come across too many lagrange cloud phenomena lately, or maybe I'm not looking hard enough..... Been chatting with a few associates over comms profusely, uh I'll call one of them commander PC for the sake of being short. Haven't heard from max since arriving at Sagittarius A , not sure exactly why but I'm sure they'll catch up soon. We're on the way to waypoint 10 now, but the journey from goliath's rest to waypoint 9 had stellar sights I won't forget for a while . Being 3 types of stellar death all within eyeshot of each other. The distortion of the black hole almost making the image of two glowing orbs of power trapped in a cage of stars. Had to get a bit uncomfortably close to the event horizon to catch a glimpse of the warping effect, so there's another thing I really don't like doing.
Departing from goliath's rest wasn't a lonely affair this time , there was more company than I had expected and I had a great time regaining my sanity while hearing other human voices . I could still see there were pilots derranged enough to go exploring in a type 9 heavy cargo ship, but if it is large enough to bring some luxuries then why not. Hell they may have an apartment sized recreational area in there and nobody knows. I could probably pack my dinky little diamondback in there and I could do the rest of distant worlds 2 riding along in that type 9 .
The trip to waypoint 10 will take us near some permit locked sectors that our drives refuse to lock on to ... It brings back to memory of those two goofuses I took around the praei sectors not too long ago where they were overconfident that it was the work of an alien species with von neumann probes , or it was an alien species with frame shift technology that figured out a way to disrupt it from range. I haven't done too much speculation myself after that little fiasco, but maybe I'll ask PC or max what they think when they swing around where I'm headed .
