Stop... Adder time!

So, after my almost year long hiatus from the Pilot's Federation, it feels good to be back in space again, albeit back in a Sidewinder, and a Gold Sidewinder at that. It's a bit blingy for my tastes - managed to catch a glimpse of my reflection in a Remlok shop window on the way out of a station and I'm not gonna lie, I cringed when I saw myself in the Goldwinder. I can't complain though, I got it on loan and having some previous experience as a pilot, I had cooked up a scheme to get myself a new ship in less than a day.With that in mind, I headed for the nearest Resource Extraction site , one that I'd read about on GalNet, and dropped in to see what the score was. No sooner had I jumped in, I noticed a nice chap in a Type-7 hammering away at an asteroid, eagerly gobbling up the resources. No sooner as i'd spotted him, some idiot in an Asp Scout drifted over, hardpoints deployed and after I quick scan I noticed he was wanted..... yes, i thought, its on! As expected, the ASP opened fire on the happy innocent miner, oblivious to both myself and the Security Forces in their Vipers. As expected, the Vipers let rip on the wanted Asp Scout, and after his shields were down, so did I. He didn't last long, and if I'm honest, the Vipers did most of the work, but I ended up with a nice fat bounty voucher for helping to toast a wanted criminal... zing! Couple more of these and I'm off to Billy Bob's used ships to spend my cash on an Adder I've had my eye on....
