CML1 Pledged to Power & High Credit Trades

Today is the start of my logbook. This logbook will supplement my notes taken throughout my corporation's computer logs.
Last night I heard of a fortune to be made out in Robigo at the Robigo Mines outpost. Seeing as I was manly an inter-bubble trader, I was currently using a large landing pad only Federal Clipper to trade Imperial Slaves and Silver back and forth between Gridge and Kamokan. So I had to fly to a system to pick up an Asp, a ship I've flown before but since traded in for larger payloads. After fitting out the ship, I made my 600+ light year jump to the Robigo system and low and behold, found the Robigo Mines. After arriving I did notice that there were many 800,000 credit trade missions on the board. After rebooting and refreshing my bulletin board several times, I had over 20 MCr in trade missions to turn in with a full cargo hold.
Flew back to the known civilized area of space and started turning in the contracts. Got interdicted several times by an Eagle only for it to turn and run after I deployed hard-points and turned on it. I finally got it on one of my last jumps between systems only to find out it was a Federal Security ship and I wound up getting an 8k credit bounty on my head. Oh well.
I also, right before starting the Robigo trade runs pledged my power to Alsing Duval of the Empire. I'm pretty torn on this decision because I'm more of an independent pilot not wanting to take part in politics however because my ships would really be rounded out well with the prismatic shield generators, I figured I better bite the bullet and put in my time. After the 4 weeks is up, I'll be dumping this faction as soon as I can. i can't stand being someone's lap dog, even if it does offer me credits and items.
Tonight I'll be making another Robigo run, this time now that my rep is up I hope to make a bit more for my time tonight, we'll see. I will also be running around with a bounty on my head so I'll need to be extra careful to get in and out of the systems fast and undetected. There was a fer-de-lance chasing me last night that pulled me out of frame shift several times and it almost got me one time but I was able to get away with 70% hull left.
