Brestla, where the non-elite scum meets and greets

I had to get busy to meet my selfimposed agenda. Fight the Thargoids in the human civilized zone. The guys on the comms were littering the aether all about this: "Alien Invasion", "Bugs are coming closer", even Gal-Net broadcasted about project Eagle-Eye. I needed to be ready. That's why I had to go to Pleiades once again. I had spent my hard earnt credtis across to many ships. Since the Type 9 had become an upgrade from Lacon - YES! a free upgrade ...
- Just bring your Type 9 to the Lacon Service Location of your choice and receive a new and shiny compressed high-capacity cargo unit! they said in the adds.
Glorious thing. Ofcourse I did this. I only had to sign an PR-contract:
- Kill a Tharg, sponsored by Lacon...
Haha, why not, I thought.
So now I sat on my Type 10, halfway fitted and engineered for fighting bugs, but I did run out of money. My recent experience thought me, that my Anaconda was far better for my combat-style.
How I hated the thought to sell those engineered modules of my Type 10. But I needed the money! My Anaconda was far from A-rated yet... and I had to face the truth. I could not afford to have both, an A-garded Type 10 AND an A-grade Anaconda. The choice was not hard to make. Of course I had to sell that Type 10, which I have bought out of my love for Lacon designs. But in the end the Delacy 'Conda was the better ship.
So, this is why I had to to go to the Pleiades again. I had to fetch my Type 10 Defender, take all parts that I could use on other ships and sell everything else. Unfortunatly I had to shoot down one crooked spiv, who tryd to get his hands on my Defenders Martuuk engineered frame-shift-drive, for free...
After that distatesful encouter I had not much choice but sell everything to the greedy Sirius salesmen. I got payed a lot of credits in the end and I could afford to A-grade my trusty Anaconda "Sysyphos". When the two Guardian Plasma Chargers where fitted, my spirits were high. Really high, totally wihtout any Aganippe Rush or Onion Head involved. I was just happy. And after some - ehm - testflights... well gladly there is no shortage of wanted scum to test my guns on ... hahaha... I was glad like a littel toddler sucking on his first lolly.
- Guardian tech rocks my boat! I cried and off I went to Brestla again. Brestla. The location for all the non-elite pilots, scum of the galaxy - we who are not entitled to enter Shinatra Dezhra! Well at least we have this place. But it's a littel journey to undertake.
Finally I arrived at I Sola Prospect. I went straigt to the shop with the label "experimentals". This was what I am lookin for. I love the crazy atmosphere of those weapon-labs and theire crazed scientist-mechanics.
- 2 big AX Multicannons and 1 big AX Missile Rack and one Flak, all fixed, I ordered. I had left all my three big and one huge hardpoints empty to accomodate my order.
The present mechanic, a real crazy guy, who's neural implant scars where contesting with his tattoos in a weird way, just told me to get myself a drift, it could all take a while.
Well I didn't hesitate and went to a nearby bar, waved my credit-stick and enjoyes my time. And when I was finally done with that, I came back next day in the morning to ask how it was going, I had surprise incoming.
- Can't equip all those things, as long as your two Guardian weapons are installed. You know, it's the law. You can't have more then four experimentals on you ship, the techy said.
- Hell what! Why on earth can't I have as many damned experimental weapons as I can pay for, tell me that!?
- Yeah, it's the law. Tharg protection law. Governments want to ensure a fair combat. You know. Fairness? You are sportsmen?
- Wut?!, I said, you are serious aren't you? Ok. So, take my money and make whatever you can do. And spare yourself your stupid excuses.
Had to sell my T10 to get me the best powerplant for my Anaconda
