Distant Worlds - a total write-off

I just watched the logs of the recoverd balckbox from the wreckage of my exploration ASP again...That creepy green watermelon-like planet...NGC 6357 Sector DL-Y E22 / 2 ... damn that day. It was 29/01/3302 the blackbox says.
It was clearly a piloting mistake that caused the crash into the surface. I did not take into account the weak thrusting power of my engines and the missing boost capability of my minimal powerdistributor as I tried to turn in a sideway loop in a 1g enviroment...
A lightwight exploration ship is not made for that kind of maneuvers it seems. Fortunatly I did not caus any other casualitys.
Another lesson learned.
I am not shure how I was transrferred back into inhibited space, but I awoke in Sinclair Colony / San Quin Gu System. I am really not shure if I am myself or if I am but a clone of the pilot who crashed aproximatly 11.000 ly from Sol.
Still I have memories of a troublesome life, I am Arkadi Kreven and I have a new ASP from the pilots federation. So thats it. I am pledged to Zachary Hudson and I was on an exploration trip to the other side of the galaxy...
I was not thinking much as I headed out of the starport and hit the frameshiftdrive. I was plotting a rout to the core again, jumping from star to star. This time I was going through the cats paw nebula. Why? Just becouse I have not been there yet...
It has become a habit to navigate, jump, scoop, scan, jump - and listen to the faint music of the celestial bodies out there.
Somehow I found my way accross the galaxy and arrived at waypoint 7: GREAE PHIO LS-L C23-221 (1B)
and I feel fine.
I hope I can still catch up with the main fleet of the DW expedition. Somehow I seem to stay behind one WP for some time now...
But its not buckeyball race, or is it?
