Threat level 5After reaching Wellington in the Witch Head Sector I decided to use my FSS to search for some threat level 5 areas in the hope of finding multiple scouts to take out. Once I found a group, I quickly realised two things. Firstly, Lyra Randolph was not onboard to take out the fighter and second the main AX Multi-Cannons I had fitted on the way over were 3C fixed and not the turret ones I had thought. By the time I had realised this the 7 or 8 scouts had got the better of me and my hull was down to 53%. It was time to retreat, repair and re-stock at the carrier.
When I got to the carrier I found I did not have any 3E Multi-Cannons in storage, so kept the fixed along site two 2F AX turrets. Picked up Lyra and head out again this time look for some threat level 4's so I could get some practise with the fixed cannons.
Eventually took out a few scouts before calling it a night, hope to have better luck tomorrow.
