I've been operating out of this system for many years now. I've explored the Galaxy, going so far as to visit Colonia, or make my way all the way up to Rackham's Peak. I once participated in the rescue efforts at The Oracle, a moment that led us to where we find ourselves now- at war with the Thargoids, a race I once tried to understand.
But despite all that, I always come back here. It's the one place I always feel welcome, no matter what happens. Nakaya Gateway has become the place I know best in this tumultuous galaxy. I know its halls better than my childhood home. I could effortlessly direct you to every last nook and cranny of this place. I got my start here as a small-time bounty hunter, working my way up from a Vulture. Now I helm a Corvette and even command a Carrier. Those early days feel like a lifetime ago...
But if that war comes here, I'll damn well do everything I can to protect this place. It's my home.
