The Life and Times of Kenlail McLail

I originally hailed from the LHS 3447 system where I grew up as a military brat on Leinster Survey. When I graduated school I immediately started working on the docks. While it paid the bills and gave me a little spending money, I quickly grew envious of the spacers that would come in and out of port. Unable to afford my own ship, I decided to join the military to gain some knowledge and a steady paycheck off-world. I quickly learned my trade as a gunner and co-pilot during system patrols along the Imperial border. Even got a little bit of action when pirates decided that our Federal gunship looked like a good target. Not quite sure what they were thinking, but I do know that they aren't thinking about that anymore. Or anything else for that matter as the encounter lasted all of 30 seconds with less than 500 rounds expended...
My time in the military came to an abrupt end with the War for Lugh. After the disastrous way this entire situation was handled, I decided that being an unaffiliated spacer would be the best option. So I left the Federal navy and bought myself a nice Cobra Mk III to start my own "business". Now I know what you are thinking, what was I doing?! I traded a little bit in both legal and not so legal merchandise, never slaves though! I also did some passenger work for all who paid. No questions asked and no details given. I even did a bit of exploration work when I got tired of my own kind (Humans).
During one of my little exploration jaunts I ran into the Thargoids. I was curious as well as cautious when I found them deep in the Pleiades sector. They had recently been attacked by an Imperial Cutter and well, it didn't go so well for our Imperial friends. So while I watched the Thargoids go about their business, I soon realized that maybe...just maybe...it was safer staying a bit closer to home. With friends...heavily armed ones at that.
So at this stage I found the Winters Wolves organization. A great group of armed individuals doing what is right, not because they have to, but because they want to. Here I get a bit of action, I bit of exploring, and a bit of trading without worrying about meeting the Thargoids again. At least not yet...
