I Guess It's Time...

03 Aug 2018BeaverNamedBucky
For a solid year I've been with the guys. They were some of the best friends the galaxy had ever given me. We had grown together, expanded together, fought together, and made of fuck-ton of money together. Now, however, I guess it's time for me to leave.

I joined the LSR in hopes to find some solidity in the ever changing life of a lone pilot never having any place to call home. The friends I had were scattered across the galaxy and every once in a while we'd run into each other and then part ways just as out of the black as we met. The LSR gave me that place.

I quickly rose through the ranks, recruit, pilot, Lieutenant, Commodore. Yet there was something missing. It was claustrophobic in ways. One of the worst things about the galaxy is there are no rules to protect you, yet that is also one of the best things about it. No one who says you can't go fly swatting. No one telling you what missions you can't do, what people you can't talk to, places you can't go. Though it gave me rest from the chaos and lawlessness of dead space, it restricted me from going back.

That leave me where I now am. Wherever I want to be. With whoever I wish. Doing whatever it is I please. I'm a leaf on the wind.

                                       Watch how I soar.
Do you like it?
