My contract in the Pleiades is finally up. Cruel irony, it was because the Alliance government cut off my employers' funding, disbanded the task force, and rolled all their assets into Aegis. Which is a good thing, operations out here needed some civilian oversight. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch. So that left me minus one obnoxious co-pilot, with a pocket full of cash and nothing to do. I decided to buy myself something nice and fitted out a barely used Asp Explorer I found for a good price at Alcazar's Hope. Reminds me of my days piloting the Asp Mk II for the 351st. I feel more exposed in this cockpit since it's not nearly as well protected as the Mk II or the Cobra I've been using, but what a view. I really feel like I can get my business moving with this ship now.
My next move I think will be to head to Deciat and check out this invitation from Felicity Farseer. She wants Meta-Alloys in exchange for FSD upgrades, might be worthwhile. After that, I don't know. I might head back to Lave, I have a feeling there will be some good business opportunities out that way.
