Bringing in just Explosives to Eurybia is barely clearing my overhead; as usual I have to wait till the contract expiration for the Pilots Federation to divvy up the loot that Aegis paid them up front. I stand to make over 3 million credits from this, and I'm getting impatient. So I've been bringing in 56 tons of Explosives from Teorge and another 56 tons of specialty goods from around the Lave Cluster each trip, apparently the Imperials here eat those up. Hopefully not literally, Leathery Eggs taste awful from what I've heard. In any case, 800,000 credits gets put into my account each trip for the specialties, and still more for the Eurybian Consumer Tech and Progenitor Cells I bring into Lave. It feels slightly less fraudulent if I make at least some of my money this way.I've started piecing together my new ship, beginning with buying the accessory modules. I already have the Shield Generator, the Heat Sink Dispensers, the Mining Laser, and the two AFMUs. I almost lost it when I saw that a class 6A Fuel Scoop would set me back over 28 million credits though. That's about 4 million shy of the current appraised value of the Esmaya. The sooner this ship gets built, the better. I feel like the Bubble's about to become a hotzone real soon. I don't like the way the Federation's been talking, and they seem determined to drag the Imperials and the Alliance into whatever they're plotting.
