I for one, am getting tired of wars. I am tired of being forced to kill people that like to try to rob me of my cargo, or while i am mining, doing trade runs or taking tourists on a journey. I have met some Thargoids, and some are against their leaders wishes to dominate the galaxy. They too want to live in peace. But on the other hand, you have some that will tell you they want peace, and soon as you turn your back, BAM, they'll hunt you down like a dog. From what i have heard on my journeys thru the big black, there is a in house war brewing to overthrow their own government because, as i said, some are tired of the needless wars. Some are even tired of their own tyrannical governments.
Back to what i was saying, i am the sort of person, who gives anyone the benefit of the doubt. But if you cross me, i will hunt you down to ends of the universe. If you watch my back, you bet i'll have yours! Stab me in the back, i'll tear your spine out!
I have been doing my utmost best of my abilities to spread the word of peace, to share knowledge, and to pull in all our efforts for a greater cause.
For the most part, i have been welcomed by many cultures and species. But one thing i have learned, is it does not matter where you are in the universe, there are ALWAYS, bad bad eggs in every culture or civilisation. Someone always trying to undermine the government when the government has nothing but good intentions. Or the opposite, being the government trying to undermine the civilisation when they want nothing but good things. Or a bit of both, where the government oppresses the people to the point when another government takes over and has nothing but good intentions, the people do not believe them and think they are out to do more harm than good.
you can tell the oppressed from the free. The oppressed will hunt you down to get what ever it is you have in your cargo holds to earn a quick buck.
The free, will offer you help, will be civil toward you...but then, so do the sly ones until you least expect it.
The Thargoids are not our enemy. Their government is!
I try to operate on a simple principle, i will not fire on you unless you are firing on me first, or if you are firing on an ally, or if you are wanted by my home system and will not surrender. But i would prefer not to fire on anyone. Life is precious. Even if you are a Thargoid or a pirate
It's a shame that the Thargoids government is so insistent on being the ruler of the galaxy. It does make them all look bad. But, for every government, even on Earth, that has tried to rule entirely, they have fell.
