Contacted by shadowy group - The Cabal

Strange days.Received some Comms recently which made me check whether someone had pinned a 'donkey' sign on the back of my spacesuit while I didn't notice.
No donkey sign. But it's clear some people think I'm lacking common sense.
The message originated from an unknown source claiming to represent "the cabal".
I have no clue who or what the cabal is. And was not that interested to find out.
They offered major help in any fight against the slave trading Black Omega. The catch was that I had to prove the Railroad's intent - by providing the Cabal with details of our strategy so they could give advice.
When I pointed out that I had no knowledge of the cabal, and that we would have to build some trust before those types of discussions - they responded by telling me they had huge resources etc and that it was in fact upon ME to prove the Railroad could be trusted
And then proceeded to ask me for the names of Railroad operatives so they could carry out background checks upon them to verify our seriousness.
If no one pinned a donkey sign to my back, maybe I have 'idiot' scrawled on my forehead.
