Pegasi Slave Rebellion [4] - Kun for Wongo, and Omega turmoil

It has become clear that this log is not secure, and that any communications, even internal, are being monitored. Its been a difficult and tiring few days.
On a personal level - I have been interdicted twice; once by a merc working for Omega, and the second time by my buddy Ouberous.
Four times confronted, four times escaped. At some point my luck is going to run out. With my carelessness, probably sooner rather than later.
Some contacts also made me aware of some "academic study" being circulated in Black Omega controlled systems to discredit me and by extension the Railroad. As usual, government funded academia is simply propaganda by a different name, let alone "academia" written by a quack under the auspices of Omega support. Maybe I'll read it one day during my auto-dock.
From a tactical level - Black Omega had decided to get into a conflict in an irrelevant fringe system with a local mafia group there.
Dropping the pretense - we knew exactly why and how they were pushed into that conflict.
Getting crooks to fight slavers while the railroad continued its operations elsewhere was preferable to sacrificing more noble blood. Sure, the masses in the pegasi are willing to give up their lives for the freedom of their fellow man - but blood, even given willingly, hangs over my heart.
No instruction was sent out to support the mafia. But I am sure a couple of operatives managed to hold their noses long enough to fight in Kun alongside the mafia. Myself being one of them. And of course, Commander Brown.
I take no pride in fighting alongside criminals - but Omega were given a black eye and some semblance of recompense was taken for those who willingly sacrificed themselves elsewhere for our aims.
Omega was routed in Kun. Even if their leadership took a tactical decision not to engage - the people of the pegasi can now see their vulnerability. If it can be cut, it can bleed. If it bleeds, it can be hurt. If it can be hurt, it can be killed.
During the conflict news reached me that Omega's most prominent member known to me and high level commander Marra was removed from their leadership position, and was no longer a part of the group.
I have no intel on what occurred - for all I know her colleagues in Omega could have hung her up for incompetence. Or possibly, she found a spark of her humanity and held onto it - whether that spark was uncovered by the slaughter of those fighting for freedom, or the emergence of the alien threat that is becoming more apparent by the day, I wouldn't know. It could all just be a ruse.
All this news of aliens. People being apparently abducted in their escape pods. I should be there, helping out.
Instead I am here. Fighting for a rebellion I didn't ask for, or look for.
The thargoids may be evil, but Omega definitely are. People may be being abducted by aliens - but Omega most certainly take pride in enslaving and mistreating them.
I know evil - and that evil is here in the Pegasi.
With all that is going on, what I have done with Wongo, in Kun, now - I am starting to fear its also appearing closer, in the mirror.
