Still searching for the Taipan AX1

As I prepare to head out on another long trek, I'm executing missions to build up my credits, with a mind to upgrade and optimize all my ships prior to departure. The new anti-Thargoid weapons and scanners have made their way out here around Colonia but the new Taipan hasn't yet. Can't help but wonder if the news on the net isn't as shiny as we've been made to believe, and the Thargoids aren't maybe putting a stop to proliferatin' that new fighter. I'm not gonna hover around Colonia hub any longer than's necessary to upgrade my ships, though.
