Janes Horizons, Home Of The Silverbacks

Well, I made it. I made it to the Arexe System and pulled into the mail slot of Janes Horizons with my very stripped down Python. Why am I pointing all this out? Arexe is the new home for The Silverbacks, the faction of which I'm a member. I couldn't help but notice just how familiar Janes Horizons was. The exact same design of station as my home in Colonia Dream, right down to the interior, colors, lighting, everything. It was almost as if I'd been teleported back. I couldn't have picked a better time, since The Silverbacks look to be getting into a war with a competing faction.
For any who had a mind to follow my exploits, I came for the purpose of getting access to additional engineers (thus opening up the final new engineer in Colonia). As it turns out, once I'd cashed in my final batch of cartographic data, I was able to buy a Federation Corvette. So, I did. Of course, it's the height of stupidity to go running around the Core Systems in a stock Corvette, and I didn't have nearly enough credits to properly out fit it, much less all the needed materials to engineer it properly. This meant my short stay in the Core had necessarily turned into a longer stay.
So, the next thing I did was gut any engineered modules I had in my Python and then sell it. After that, I upgraded all the modules I could in the Corvette, in preparation for getting it engineered. Then, I needed a smaller ship that would allow me to run missions to get credits, do the necessary grinding to acquire materials I'd need for engineering, and also help out my Silverbacks folk in solidifying our hold on Arexe. Although it was probably not one of my best decisions, I nonetheless settled on a Cobra MkIII. I upgraded it and did some engineering to it and now I'm sitting once again at Janes Horizons. I will likely run short-range missions from JH until the pending war starts and then I'll jump in the fray so that The Silverbacks are victorious.
