Halfway Home to Colonia

I'm making my way home. Finally. Don't get me wrong, I love winging with my Silverbacks compatriots, and I'm going to miss the..uh...well, missadventures back in Arexe. And, according to the latest wave, looks like war's afoot in Baijungu and we might be expanding again. But, as I sit here in a little layover in Sacaqawea Space Port, my mind is already drifting to my permanent home at Colonia Dream.
I'm sure there's considerable dust that's collected all over my apartment. I didn't know how long I'd be in the Core Systems--I'm already much, much longer than I even guessed--so I didn't bother hiring someone to take care of things. Thankfully, I don't have any pets that I had to worry about. But I'm anxious to get back to my sky. I miss my sky. And, of course, I have a lot of work to do once I get back, not the least of which is trigger the transport of a hell of a lot of modules I had engineered while I was in the Core. Oh, sure, we have engineers in Colonia, but for some reason they can't do high-level upgrades....still! I know getting all this stuff shipped out is going to cost a bundle, but I simply can't get that stuff in Colonia. Such is life in the Wild West. Or the Wild Center, as it were.
Although I do have an AFMS onboard to fix modules, I didn't do as much neutron star hopping as I anticipated, so the FSD didn't take enough damage to negatively impact my trip. So, I saved the repairs for when I pulled into port. Once they get done sprucing up the FSD, I'll be lifting off for the second half of the trip home.
