Two Hyperspace Interdictions in One Week

You see, this is why I don't live in the core systems. Twice, now, I've been yanked mid-jump by those damned Thargoids. The first time went relatively without incident (other than minor damage to my FSD). But this second one was a might bit more harrowing. 
When I settled into normal space I was faced with two of the big boys. Both hit me with the feelz and shut down my ship. When my ship finally recovered and began to come to life the heat was building quickly, sparks and smoke were building up in the cabin and alarms started going nuts. It took me precious minutes to figure out what was going on, all the while the two Thargoids were slowly casing me. I finally realized, as the hull dropped to 90%, that somehow Silent Running had been triggered. I frantically stabbed it off and fired off a heat sink to drop the temps. I watched the two alien ships high-wake out.
Thankfully, this Corvette was configured for exploration and the long trek home to Colonia so I had a repair limpet controller and AFMS to get things patched up and continue to my destination.
Oh, and one of the Thargoid ships had the unmitigated gall to side-swipe my ship as he turned to leave! Rude!
