Frustrated with stupid Commies, Needed a Distraction

Well, when you're working solo against evil people, it can be frustrating. The stupid communists running the station I call home have enough commanders working for them that it was always going to be an uphill battle. Perhaps I can entice a few more Silverbacks to migrate and we can kick those feebleminded miscreants in the teeth. In the meantime, I have some commanders that are looking for assistance back in the core systems, so I decided to test out my explOrca and see how quickly I could make the trip.
Pretty damned impressive, if I do say so myself. I made the trip back in 10 hours, including a modest amount of actual exploration. The trip was made just a bit more challenging due to the fact that I installed completely new manual control hardware, and I had a bugger of a time fine-tuning everything to my liking. I didn't get very far into the journey before I simply had to set The Ceti Sionnach down on a planet with respectable gravity to do some actual rewiring.
I have to say, I do enjoy the bridge of the Orca in comparison to the Anaconda. The fact is, though, I can't quite get the jump range I can with the Anaconda and I don't have as flexible internal configuration. But I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, nonetheless.
The seeming randomness of the galaxy never fails to impress me when I run across quadrary star systems like this, though:
But, I was focused on getting back to the bubble as quickly as possible, so I couldn't afford a lot of time sightseeing. In the early morning hours I finally found myself supercruising to Janes Horizons in the Arexe system, being welcomed by one of my fellow Silverbacks, Cmdr Toberious.
Now, down to business.
