Carrier Pollution. And Poisoning The Enemy

28 Jun 2020Scubadog
What the hells is going on?!  Ever since the superpowers ruled it was okay to make civilianized capital class ships, the galaxy has gone stark raving lunatic.  I hate those damned things.  They're every gorram where.  I was really hoping that they'd be pretty sparse out here in Colonia.  But it's getting harder to navigate the maps because those stupid carriers are puking up the major systems.  I wish you would all take your useless, overpriced toys and go back home to the bubble, where you belong.  You have no place out here.

I remain convinced at this point that these stupid carriers are also why the markets are crap right now.  I can't  do any decent business around here.  It's tough enough that Colonia just doesn't see as great a return on products here compared to the bubble.  I've accept that much.  But ever since the carriers showed up, it's all gone to all three hells.  The only decent money left seems to be in clandestine operations or passenger missions.  Oh, joy.

Speaking of clandestine ops, I've acquired a Type 9 for the express purpose of taking black market goods to try to make some sort of impact on the disgusting communists running the station I call home.  Sadly, I tried to ally myself with another faction that seemed to have a governmental philosophy that I could stomach...only to find out they actually were allied with the communists!  Seriously?  It's like factions have zero integrity anymore.  Except the Silverbacks.  Everyone else seems to be a hypocrite.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.  I guess this is why exploring is so attractive to me.  I don't actually need  anyone, and I've learned to be completely self-sufficient out in the black.  I don't need a carrier, most certainly.  And out in the black I don't have to be constantly reminded that very few commanders, very few factions have any integrity and actually stand for what's right.  Y'all should be ashamed.
Do you like it?
