FLEET STEADILY GROWING; AMF TO FOCUS EFFORTS ON TRADING(21 JUL 3301)
With the AMF's steady growth of ships being restored into the fold, the company has shifted its priorities to trading as it continues to recommission more ships into the fleet, with two currently underway.
One of which is the AMF Lazarus II, a multi-role Python-class destroyer. While it hasn't been fully restored, 30% of the company's capital have been locked in and will be spent on a periodic basis, with around 20% currently invested on the ship. More input will be given as the company regains 5-10% of its current capital back for every restoration carried out.
The second one is the AMF Saint Nazaire, an Imperial Clipper-class ship. Originally planned to work in conjunction with the ESV MC-GL, the ship will have an entirely new and independent role upon release (currently undisclosed). While plans to restore the ship have been finalized, the company has not locked in any funds for further development. In the meantime, it stays docked in one of the stations in Aisling Duval's territory.
To minimize costs for the next few weeks, the AMF will also form trading wings with like-minded, independent CMDRs to receive additional dividends.
