>>> (Clears throat) This is the log of Zenoe, Commander of the Nostromo, a Type-9 Heavy. My Ship ID is CM-88B...what else...OH! Currently engaging in a Mining/Exploration expedition I'm calling "Operation: Deep Space Mine" (laughs), destination is approximately 5,100ly away from my home system of Ugrivirii. The start of the journey has been smooth, for the most part. I did have a little mishap involving a geological site and my SRV. The site was at the bottom of a canyon and the SRV had no problems getting to the site. Can't really say the same for my ship, I had to land it on the cliff and jump off. Nearly destroyed my SRV in the process too. I poked around a bit and managed to find some usable materials. When I was done, I pinged the ship to return and Alix decided that the top of a sheer cliff was the best place...when there was perfectly suitable ground all around me. It was a little rough with the rocks but overall the ground itself was quite flat. I initially tried climbing the mountain and I'm sure you can imagine the outcome. After getting back to stable ground, I decided to follow the canyon floor, and one path led to the other side of where the Nostromo landed. It was still to rough to climb, but according to my sensors, the area nearby looked like a sufficient LZ so I dismissed and recalled the ship. This time, Alix managed to find a spot ~500m from my position. Home sweet home. I still have 205 jumps left...(sighs) better get going...
