>>>Day 3. Got a really late start today, just a couple hours ago. Honestly spent most of the day lounging around, felt good. Decided my quarters looked a little messy and did some straightening up. Overall it's been a pretty grounded (chuckles) day. When I did decide to finally take off and continue, I started jumping like a bit of a madman, close to 30 jumps. Scanned damn near everything on the way though. Navigation says I still have 177 jumps left. The system that I decided to stop in tonight had some interesting finds. I flew 72K ls for two High Metal Content planets, both are land-able, because they hadn't been mapped yet. I only mapped the planet I landed on for the night and my sensors picked up 13 biological signals. I set course for the nearest one and landed near it. I plan on taking the SRV out tomorrow to check it out. I've heard of biological life growing on seemingly lifeless planets, but I've never seen it first hand. I'm excited. I'm gonna get some sleep so I can get out there and finally see it for myself!
