They seem eager to get to work, can't say I blame them. I can't imagine being in cryosleep for four years. Expedition progress is moving along well, I Investigated the bio signal from last night, it was forest of Roseum Brain Trees. I was very excited. Ended up taking some pictures. Didn't stick around too long though, still had a lot of jumping to do. One of the systems we passed through today had a couple of juicy finds. Two Water Worlds, one of them terraformable. I wasn't the first to discover these planets, but I was the first to map them! Outside of the biological signal, today has been a jumping day. Number of jumps is now down to...121. I found a short stretch of Neutron stars to give us a little bit of extra distance covered. I landed on a nearby planet and during the glide, I picked up an unknown signal and blew right past it. Lucky, the glide finished only a few kilometers away and I was able to track it down. Took the SRV out for the second time today, I think that's a record low! (laughs). Just shy of 1km from the LZ, there was some gnarly debris...and four intact escape pods. I obviously wasn't going to leave them there. Although, Alix keeps trying to tell me that those escape pods are "stolen". (sigh) Either way...I don't think I'm gonna have Evans wake these people up. We just released two people from quarantine and I honestly don't want to have to deal with four more...(sigh)...I'm gonna get some sleep.
