Commander's Personal Entry - November 23nd, 3303
23 Nov 2017Orion Starhunter
The crew of the USS Discovery and I have made our first 69 jump trek out to Hillary Depot in the Blu Thua AI-A c14-10 system. Having traveled over 2,000 light years, scanned a few planetary bodies (of which were first discoveries) and taking the time to rest at Hillary Depot, we set out once again today on our second leg of the journey to Colonia. We have plotted 81 jumps to Amundsen Terminal in the Lagoon Sector NI-S b4-10 system. The farther out we go from the bubble, the brighter the arms of the galaxy appear, and we have even detected pockets of what appear to be dark matter or nebula of some sort.
As a bonus, today happens to be Thanksgiving, so we will be having our Thanksgiving dinner while en route to Amundsen Terminal. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of my fellow commanders a Happy and safe Thanksgiving. Don't eat so much that you fall asleep at the conn.
Happy Thanksgiving to all...
Fly safe.. Next entry will be from Amundsen Terminal in the Lagoon Sector....
