It appears now after listening to the logs here at this INRA base, that INRA is not what the public was told. The Junior Scientist that was at Hollis Gateway in Hermitage 4A, has copied his research, and his experiments and equipment have been taken to Alnath A2AA, where the experiment has been weaponized per his entries. From what we have been able to determine, these weapons were even tested on live subjects.
As a human being, even this goes against all I know for scientific research, both morally and ethically. It appears that the employees at the INRA facilities have no bounds when it comes to research, and this was all just a military cover up for a way to make Anti-Thargoid weapons. Apparently the theory both my first officer and I had has been proven true.
We will press on to Alnath A2AA and see what else we uncover.
