Commander Trysha Starhunter - First Officer
Star Ship Name: Ex Astris Scientia
Star Ship Class: Orca

We've decided that in the last month or so we have been doing a lot of missions both for our Allegiance whom we have pledged to Aisling Duval of the Empire, and for our own monetary gain.
To be honest, both the crew and myself have gotten a bit bored with "the bubble" and have decided to go out end explore. In doing so, I purchased an Orca Class Starship, and outfitted her for just this singular purpose. 5A Frameshift Drive, and mostly D class modules to lighten up the weight, I've managed to get this thing to 46Ly jumps. Not a bad feat considering the size of the ship.

That being said I've also included a 4G Planetary Hangar for the SRV's, just to go exploring on the surfaces of whatever moons or planets we may come across.

Our first initial mission was to follow an old bit of information regarding Kepler-22b from some older 20th century information that we had paid handsomely for. Once we arrived at the Kepler-22 system, we found the data to be inaccurate, and made the appropriate corrections based on our scans of the planets and moons in the system.

Our next journey will take us to Orion's Belt. This will include visiting stars like Betelgeuse, Saiph, Rigel, and Bellatrix. While some may say this is pointless, the calling of exploration has not been greater for both myself and the crew. Being that my first name was given to me by my parents after the great Orion Nebula, I figured I would go and search my own roots and satisfy my curiosities of the universe.

We are currently sitting on the surface of Kepler-22 4A, and from what our scans have told us, this planet is rich in minerals. Arsenic count is about 2.6%, which is about the same as some of the planets in the Deciat system. All the same, I'm not going to launch a materials mission here, I'd rather see what's out there.

We've named the journey, The Orion's Belt Tour, and our first stop will be Betelgeuse. While I remember as a kid how this was supposed to be the largest Red Giant in the Milky Way Galaxy, I personally want to see it for myself, and also see if there are any planets orbiting it.

I'll make sure to take photos to post of our journey.
